Harley-Davidson FLH tech info
Harley-Davidson FLH description
Selling my 1975 Harley Davidson FLH motorcycle in excellent original condition. I've owned it for 16 years and I'm the second owner. The bike has ~16K original miles however, I had a brand new out-of-the-crate S&S 93"cubic inch engine installed 3 thousand miles ago. The result is a classic Harley with the power and torque of a newer bike.
The pictures reflect the same bike with two different seats one being the original white saddle and the other a black police style saddle seat. I also have the original trunk that sits between the two side saddle bags. The passenger foot pedals are shown in a couple of the pictures. I accept a Cashiers Check. Buyer will need to pay and coordinate for all shipping and local pickup. The bike is located in the San Francisco Bay Area also known as Silicon Valley. |

Pope Francis To Auction Harley-Davidson For Charity
Mon, 21 Oct 2013During Harley-Davidson‘s 110th anniversary celebrations earlier this year, Pope Francis was given not one, but two Harley-Davidsons, a 2013 Heritage Softail Classic and Dyna Super Glide Custom. Not one for gaudy excess (or a motorcycle ride for that matter), Pope Francis has decided to put both up for auction. Specifically, the Pope has donated the bikes to the Caritas charity near Rome.

Louisiana Bill Updates Maximum Handlebar Height Legislation
Thu, 17 May 2012Louisiana state lawmakers have approved a bill that would change the maximum height of motorcycle handlebars. Current state law restricts handlebar height to no more than 15 inches above the seat, a somewhat arbitrary level, but a common choice with 17 other states. The House has voted 87-0 in favor of Senate Bill 582 to change the maximum height to the rider’s shoulder level, as measured while sitting on the seat.
