Every now and then we find a unit that deserves a second chance. This bike runs and drives great. Proven engine design, and great parts availability everywhere. Sounds beautiful. Like new Shinko tires and a fresh Virginia Inspection sticker. Aftermarket parts include - Jardine Exhaust and custom braided brake lines up front. This unit does have cosmetic flaws that are pictured. Rash and scuffs in places. It is not a show quality bike, but it is nice. It is priced accordingly. Payment is expected within 7 days of auction close via certified bank check. $500 Paypal deposit required within 48 hours. We're happy to work with a shipper that you choose and pay for. We are not able to offer delivery. Bike is sold AS-IS with no warranties or guarantees expressed or implied. Vehicle can be inspected or viewed locally by appointment only. No trade offers please. Yamalube Motor Oil Video is Educational, British, and Brainwashing
Tue, 16 Jun 2009Yamaha Motor Europe have just posted a new video up on Youtube about their Yamalube motor oil and why you should use it on your Yamaha products. They are pretty damn convincing or very good at brainwashing! The video is pretty educational, explaining how motorcycle engines and car engines are very different, what a motorcycle engine really needs, and why Yamalube is very well suited for the job. Various graphs, charts, shots of scientists making oil, and the accented British narrator have further convinced me that I need to get Yamalube and perhaps even be adding it into my morning bowl of cereal.
Yamaha Trademarks YZF-R3
Thu, 16 Jan 2014Yamaha has filed for a trademark with the European Union for the names “YZF-R3” and “R3“. The trademark applications were filed Jan. 6 and are still under review, but once approved, we should expect Yamaha to introduce a new YZF-R3 soon after.
