WORLD WIDE AND COMBINED SHIPPING -

This is a pamphlet from The Triumph Engineering Co. Ltd. located at the Meriden Works - Allesley, Coventry, England. There is no date on the pamphlet but judging by the model numbers, I would place the date at about 1956. There are no holes or significant wear on the pamphlet although the seams are beginning to tear a little from use. A nice piece of British motorcycle history.

The advertising brochure is about 56 cm long by 17.9 cm wide. Advertising for the models 5T (Speed Twin), 6T (Thunderbird), T100 (Tiger), T110 (Tiger), Trophy TR5 and TR6, T15 (Terrier) and T20 (Tiger Cub). Specifications are given for all eight models. Postage cost is as follows:

Recall for 2011 Triumph Tiger 800, 800XC Accessory Center Stands

Mon, 29 Aug 2011

Triumph is recalling accessory center stands for the 2011 Tiger 800 and Tiger 800XC because of a defective return spring. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the return springs on the  accessory center stand for the Triumph Tiger 800 and 800XC may not always return to its original length, potentially leading to a loose center stand and a fracture in the spring wire. Riders may detect a rattling sound from the loose stand and in the case of a fractured spring, a scraping sound caused by the center stand dragging along the road.
