Triumph to Mark 110th Anniversary with Special Edition Bonneville T100
Mon, 27 Feb 2012Triumph will celebrate the 110th anniversary of the brand with a special edition version of the Bonneville T100.
The current Hinckley-based Triumph Motorcycle company has only been around since 1984 but the original Triumph Engineering Co. first began producing motorcycles in 1902.
For a company that proudly trumpets the brand’s heritage, an anniversary edition of the classically-styled Triumph Bonneville should come as no surprise.
Documents released by the California Environmental Protection Agency‘s Air Resource Board reveal Triumph’s 2013 865cc product lineup, which includes the America, Scrambler, Speedmaster, Thruxton and the Bonneville models.
The 2013 Bonneville includes the base Bonneville, the Bonneville T100 and the previously announced McQueen Edition. Joining them will be the 110th Anniversary Edition which, like the McQueen version, will be based on the T100.
No official details for the anniversary edition have been announced, but based on the CARB documents, it will be based on the T100 including the same 865cc parallel Twin engine and wire spoke wheels. Expect to see a special edition color and 110th anniversary badging as well.
