-Vermont clear title/registration -Rebuilt 69' 650 motor -New .20 over pistons & rings -Head beadblasted & rebuilt pressure tested. -Bottom end tight, tested no issues -new gaskets, no leaks anywhere -Polished engine covers. -rare finned timing cover. -Lightweight aluminum clutch pack. -New Wassell electronic ignition, ignition switch and wiring. -NOS UK exhaust and mufflers -New Amal Carbs and lines. -New Handlebars and cables -New sealed battery -Rare Lucas headlight (needs bulb. glass and bezel are very nice) -Original Tank and emblems side panels, and rear fender. -Rear fender needs paint and original taillight found and installed. 2012-2013 Triumph Speed Triple in Two Transmission-Related Recalls in Canada
Tue, 21 May 2013Transport Canada announced two separate transmission-related recalls for the 2012 and 2013 Triumph Speed Triple. At this time, the recall only affects Speed Triples in Canada though a separate recall should be expected for the U.S. market.
Michelin Unveils New Tire for Dual Sport Motorcycles
Wed, 06 Feb 2013More than half of the new BMW R 1200 GSs that roll off the assembly line in 2013 will be fitted with Michelin’s new big trail tire, the Anakee III. BMW and Michelin worked together to co-develop the dual-sport tire, which is designed to deliver all the safety and off road capability big trail motorcycle users demand. The Anakee III will also be available as a replacement option for other leading dual sport bikes, like the Suzuki V-Strom, Kawasaki KLR, Triumph Tiger and Yamaha Super Tenere.
The TT800 From Deus Ex Machina
Wed, 16 Jul 2014Deus Ex Machina, the surf/moto shop known for creating throwback, one-of-a-kind motorcycles, has released its latest work of art, the TT800. Paying tribute to the highly successful Triumph factory TT machines from the mid-1960s, Deus’ expert builder, Michael Woolaway, created the TT800 for a customer requesting a new, old Triumph. It sources a Kawasaki W650 bored out to 800cc with CR carbs, a custom TT inspired exhaust, custom chromoly racing frame, re-valved Öhlins forks, and a custom gusseted swing arm for more stability. A Beringer six-piston caliper front brake provides stopping power.
