Triumph Bonneville description
Nicely restored 1972 Triumph Bonneville for sale. Very nice, correctly functioning rider with no mechanical issues. With a good detailing the bike could easily be displayed in a museum setting, however it is not a perfect bike. Please know that even thought it has been restored, the bike is 45 years old. Serious buyers please study the photos in detail and ask any questions for anything that is not clear. Bike was restored about 6 years ago. Do not have any additional photos or documentation of the restoration. Comes with clear OH
title branded ACTUAL 29,500 miles and is exactly what you see in the
photos, nothing more, nothing less.
It is in everyone's best interest for the buyer to clearly know what they are getting, so here is my best description of what I can see or understand about this bike: Positive Points:
Negative Points:

2012-2013 Triumph Street Triple and Daytona 675 Hit with Nissin ABS Recall
Mon, 29 Jul 2013A manufacturing error by brake manufacturer Nissin has claimed another motorcycle maker. Triumph is recalling the 2012-2013 Street Triple, Street Triple R, Daytona 675 and Daytona 675R because of the problem with the Nissin-supplied anti-lock brake modulator. The issue has already resulted in recalls for the 2014 Honda CTX700 and CTX700N, the 2013 Kawasaki Ninja 300 (and the Ninja 250 offered in Asian markets) and the 2013 Suzuki Hayabusa.
Steve McQueen Inspired Motorcycle
Tue, 10 Nov 2009British motorcycle manufacturer Triumph and Swiss watch manufacturer TAG Heuer have collaborated to create a special, one-of-a-kind “Bonneville Heuer” Triumph motorcycle. The association between Triumph and TAG Heuer comes as a result of their common values and the legacy of Steve McQueen, who was famously linked to both brands. The TAG Heuer Bonneville features a unique blue and orange paint scheme that was inspired by the Porsche sports car driven by Steve McQueen’s character in the movie Le Mans (1971).
