The last true superbike, the GSXR 1000 K6 - look it up, the next year around 14 lbs of weight was added due to new emissions regs, this is the last of the truly feather weights but with tons of power! Bike is stock with only exceptions being a TRE mod and K&N air filter. Just changed oil/filter about 3 months ago (full synthetic amsoil/k&n filter), bike always garaged or inside my house. Only one minor flaw, about a 1" crack on right side fairing (not dropped, something bumped it). Own the last true Superbike and it's ready to make mods of your own to bring even more out of it! Results From Day 1 Of World Superbike Testing At Phillip Island
Mon, 17 Feb 2014Eugene Laverty, aboard his Voltcom Crescent Suzuki GSX-R1000, led the field today as the first day of World Superbike testing got underway at the Phillip Island circuit in Australia, site of the first race of the 2014 season. Under sunny skies and perfect weather conditions, Laverty adapted quickly to his new ride after spending last season aboard the Aprilia RSV4 Factory. The Suzuki offered incredible feedback and allowed him to push right out of the gates, ultimately setting a fastest lap time of 1:30.513.
Intermot 2012: Updated Suzuki Burgman 650 Executive Introduced in Cologne
Wed, 03 Oct 2012Suzuki introduced an updated Burgman 650 scooter at the 2012 Intermot show, refining the maxi-scooter’s styling and giving a boost in fuel economy. The 2013 Suzuki Burgman 650 is powered by a 638cc liquid-cooled parallel twin engine, the same powerplant used when the scooter first debuted in 2002. Though the engine is essentially the same, Suzuki claims the 2013 Burgman 650 uses 15% less fuel than the previous model due to a refined transmission system and reduced losses from friction.
