Kawasaki KLX description

2003 Kawasaki KLX400/ Suzuki DRZ400
The Kawasaki KLX 400 is a Suzuki DRZ 400 in green plastics. These bike have been the same since 2002 until the present. Why fix something that is very effective. I have 2 motorcycles right now and barely ride one. This machine is very nice condition and looks very good. I also have a full set of black Acerbis plastics that have not been out of the bag. If the bids get high enough, I'll let them go with the deal. If not, I will sell separately. This bike is very powerful and pulls me around great. I weigh 220lb. It would be perfect candidate to supermoto or add street legal gear. It has electric starts and runs great. Needs nothing but a rider. The bike is located in Hazleton PA 18201. I will help load but will not deliver. Please make offers. I do like stuff and will trade. Did I say I like everything, it's a problem. Or cash is good too. THANKS and good luck.

Kawasaki Patents Design for Naked Single

Wed, 05 Mar 2014

Kawasaki has registered a design patent for what appears to be a naked version of its recently revealed 250cc single-cylinder Ninja RR Mono. While the Ninja RR Mono (also known in some markets as the Ninja 250SL) is produced for the Asian market, the new design is registered with the European Union’s Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market, making it more likely to arrive in western markets. The detailed design renderings reveal many clues indicating this is a naked version of the RR Mono.

Randy de Puniet's custom W650

Fri, 16 Dec 2011

MotoGP star Randy de Puniet commissioned Deus customs to build him a motorcycle for the streets of Sydney. Randy's brief was for a middleweight, 2-up twin that would be light enough to slice through the city streets and have the power for blasts on the open road, and have orange, black and white for the paint. Deus chose the Kawasaki W650, lowered it at both ends, fitted an SR500 tank, lobbed the old air box and added K&N filters, stuck on a custom 2-into-2 exhaust system and added low-profile fenders to finish off the clean and simple look.

New: Venhill 888 fast-action twistgrips

Fri, 01 Mar 2013

CONTROL specialist Venhill has launched its new 888 range of bike-specific fast action twistgrips.  Supplied complete with the company's top of the range Featherlight cables, the kits are designed for a straightforward replacement of the factory-fitted equipment.  Bike-specific kits are now available for the Honda CBR600F, Kawasaki ZX-6R/ZX-10R, Suzuki GSX-R600/750, Triumph 675 Daytona and Yamaha R1/R6, among others, with prices from £105. Here's Venhill's description of the new product: "Manufactured with a robust CNC machined alloy body, the 888 fast action twistgrip provides a choice of two settings and is supplied with two rotors so that riders can select the throttle action that best suits the riding conditions.  Settings can be changed swiftly by undoing the two set screws securing the throttle body and changing the rotor. On the fastest setting there is 80° of rotation, (taking up 36mm of the cable), which is typically 45% faster than 'standard' throttles.
