All original 1948 Indian Chief for sale, asking for $32,999. Includes stock extras such as back foot rest pegs, leather mud guards, luggage rack and set back bar risers. Bike was restored by Randy Zorn of Lyndernhurst Long Island, NY. Mileage on speedo is 600 mis, and is miles after restoration. Bike was also repainted and motor and transmission were done.

Allstate Offering $5,000 Grants for Best New Motorcycle Safety Ideas
Thu, 08 Aug 2013We’ve previously written about Allstate‘s efforts at advancing motorcycle safety and awareness, from its “Watch for Motorcycles” sign campaign to its Rider Risk Map app on Facebook. Today, the insurance provider announced another new initiative in its Good Rides Grant program, offering $25,000 in grants for new ideas to advance motorcycle safety. Allstate is asking people to send their ideas on how to improve safety to the company’s Facebook page.

Each custom bike in ‘Built for Speed’ reflects a branch of racing; Speedway, Flat Track, Drag Racing, Board Track, Grand Prix, Land Speed Record, and will be displayed beside the racing machines suggesting the origins of each style.
