Honda All description

This is a 1980 CB 900 that was a shift drive that has been converted to a chain drive which gives a long look.

This bike has a running 78 CB 750 motor that will need carbs adjusted because it will only run with the choke on.

This is wired to run all you need to do is put a battery in and it will crank.

It has a custom cafe tail section thats part of the frame (cant be removed) that looks KILLA.

The gastank has a cool paint job with flames, but there are a few spots that may need touch up and the back tank mount has been removed and will need attention.

It has new clip on bars,Hand controls and rear brake master cylinder.

There has been a chain roller installed so you can route the chain under the frame. ( shown in pics with red circle)

This bike also has mounts for a monoshock if you would rather.

If not they can be cut off.

Things to be done to finish are an oil tank needs to be mounted (I have one ),may needs tubes, chain, rear brake caliper, headlight installed  (that I have),seat made, paint, powder coat, blinkers and break lights.

I recommend buying an Ultima custom wiring harness, it costs about $150 but it's AWESOME

It's a small box that does all relay, fuse, blinker and lighting functions. I used one on my other bike.

The speedometer at the top of the risers is not included it's just for photos to show where it can be mounted. If not the mount can be removed.

The bike has both front rotors on it not shown in pics.

A Weighty Issue

Mon, 03 Nov 2008

For as long as I can remember, motorcycle manufacturers have been playing fast and loose with regard to what they claim for the weight of their bikes. The “dry weights” they foisted upon us had little basis in reality. The “dry” part of that claim meant that listed weights on a spec chart were the result of all fluids being MIA from the bike, including necessities like engine oil, coolant and fork fluid (not to mention fuel), but even that didn’t fully explain the overly optimistic specs.

EICMA 2011: Honda NC700X Unveiled

Tue, 08 Nov 2011

Alongside the Honda NC700S at EICMA comes the NC700X, a “crossover” model with better off-road capability. Like the NC700S, the 2012 Honda NC700X is powered by Honda’s new 670cc parallel Twin engine. Honda designed the engine to be highly efficient, with optimal performance at speeds up to 87 mph and the engine revving up to 6000 rpm, a range Honda’s research found accounts for 90% of an average commuter’s uses.
