Harley-Davidson Touring description

This is a newly built 2012 street glide bagger with only 5,060 miles (the miles may go up if I decide to ride it) and roughly 300 of those were put on after it was built. It has 2014-16 Dirty Bird concepts tail dragger ass end, Dirty bird ribbed front fender, Dirty bird pointed front fender spacers, dirty bird jaded pointed tail lights and license plate frame. Camtech side covers, stretched tank shroud with Yaffe style dash and Lepera Yaffe seat. It has a 26" SMT Penthouse wheel, Vee Rubber tire and matching rotor.  Paul Yaffe floorboards, passenger pegs, brake cover, shifter peg & bars. American suspension bolt on neck and trees. Arlen Ness smooth hot legs, 2" extended fork cans & Wilwood high performance front left caliper. It has all Arlen Ness Rad 3 hand controls, switch housings and mirrors as well deep cut comfort grips. It has American Suspension front air with rear air. The viair 380c compressor is mounted under rear fender and tank is mounted under left bag. It is instant up with Switch air switches for front and back (no need for solenoids). It has a Sony marine grade head unit w/Bluetooth, CD, MP3, mic, usb, etc. with a 400 watt Kenwood amp, 2 JBL 6.5's in the fairing and 2 JBL 6"x9"s in the bag lids. Aftermarket daymaker headlight with halo. It has a Arlen Ness stage 2 intake with custom cover to match the wheel. It has a Dobeck tuner and a Squeeks sidewinder exhaust with a Yaffe afterburner tip. The paint is a black sparkle metallic with a few marble accents. I would rate the paint at about a 8.5 out of 10. The bike has been tuned and serviced. It runs and sounds great with plenty of power and no issues. This bike was well built, not chopped up or thrown together.  Please feel free to ask questions. I don't like surprises and I'm sure you don't either so I will answer any questions or concerns to the best of my ability. I personally built this bike just like I have built several others so I can tell you anything you'd like to know about it. Buyer is responsible for shipping and charges but I will help in anyway if needed (not with the cost). This is an auction so please don't ask what the reserve is just bid.  If you would like additional pictures or video just let me know.

Off-Road Motorcycle and Free-Ride Bicycle Compared

Thu, 11 Dec 2008

What if anything do bicycles and motorcycles have in common? Besides the whole two-wheel thing, it isn’t outright apparent that these two “handle-barred beasts” share more than ancient ancestry. Modern Off-road motorcycle and Free-ride bicycle designs side-by-side illustrate how much technology the two have in common.

2013-2014 Harley-Davidson Breakout Recalled for Faulty Fuel Indicators

Thu, 17 Apr 2014

Harley-Davidson is recalling 2013-2014 Breakout models, including CVO versions, because the fuel level indication system may not be properly reading the correct amounts of fuel. As of this publishing, recalls have been announced by government agencies in Australia and Canada; the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has not yet posted a recall but U.S.-based members of the Harley-DavidsonForums.com report American dealerships have already started receiving recall bulletins. According to a recall announcement by Transport Canada, some Breakout and CVO Breakout models may run out of fuel despite the fuel and range indicators indicating there is still enough fuel in the tank.
