Harley-Davidson Touring description

LOW MILES TWO TONE CVO INSPIRED AUTUMN SUNSET AND CARBON DUST 2014 HARLEY DAVIDSON FLHX STREET GLIDE!  This is an ex-police FLHTP that has been converted to civilian use.  It is loaded with a fuel injected 103 cubic inch motor, 6 speed transmission, big oval chrome Vance & Hines pipes, ABS brakes, Harley Daymaker LED headlight and passing lamps, Streamliner floorboards and highway pegs, chrome engine guard, chrome oil cooler and regulator cover, chrome gauge and radio trim, Power Acoustik radio, plus so much more!  The tires are in good shape with about 75% tread remaining on the front and like new tread on the rear. This was a police bike with a salvage title and with damage to the front fork tubes and fender. There was no damage to the engine, frame, or wheels.  So, it is ready to go with its new owner anywhere and will come with a Rebuilt title.  The battery was down when it was sold at auction, so the miles could not be read.  I was told the miles are original, but the title has been marked as “Not Actual Mileage”.  I rode the bike home from Texas and am pleased with the way it rides, drives, shifts, stops, and sounds.  I got it with a new state safety inspection. I gave it a complete service when I got back and had it checked at a dealer.   So, please bid to win and definitely bid with confidence!

Something for the weekend, Sir?

THIS IS THE 2011 Harley-Davidson special edition Ford F-150 pickup truck. The 6.2-litre V8 features 22-inch forged wheels, lowered suspension over the standard model and a decent smattering of Harley-Davidson logos. "The new 2011 Ford Harley-Davidson F-150 perfectly blends the flexibility and capability of F-Series trucks with the free spirit of Harley-Davidson motorcycles," said Eric Kuehn, chief engineer.

Harley Riders Wear Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness

Wed, 02 Oct 2013

The Harley-Davidson family of riders and fans has a promise for women affected by breast cancer: You’re not alone, because we ride with you. These riders and fans added extra horsepower to that promise by raising more than $1 million for organizations that support and empower women affected by breast cancer through the purchase of Harley-Davidson Genuine MotorClothes Pink Label Collection apparel and merchandise. “The brave and courageous women who have shared with us stories of battling breast cancer are the inspiration for the Pink Label Collection,” said Karen Davidson (right), Creative Director of General Merchandise and granddaughter of a Harley-Davidson Motor Company founder.

Harley-Davidson Reveals Project Livewire

Thu, 19 Jun 2014

Yesterday we published a scoop on what we believed to be a production electric motorcycle by, of all companies, Harley-Davidson, dubbed “Livewire.” Today, H-D officially announced Project LiveWire as the company’s first electric motorcycle. However, it appears as though our speculation about LiveWire going into production was a bit off base. Instead, The Motor Company is continuing with its customer-led product development approach and letting riders decide whether or not LiveWire sees the light of day. Starting next week select consumers across the country will be able to ride and provide feedback on the bike, helping to shape the future of Harley-Davidson’s first-ever electric motorcycle. While not for sale, Project LiveWire is specifically designed for the purpose of getting insight into rider expectations of an electric Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
