Up for sale is my 96 EVO Bagger.
The bike was built by a mechanic so alot of time and money went into this build. It is not perfect but it is great bike. There are a couple of chips in the bags and a small scratch on the tank and a small crack in the trunk lid. It has a been riden very little over the last couple of years. The battery is new and has been maintained with a battery tender. The bike has a 2000 swing arm and 2000 front end with 1" axles. A 2000 tour pack was installed along with a newer harness. The motor has a Wood Perforamce Carb and a Woods W6 cam and Wiesco 10.5 pistons. The heads have been massaged and the motor has been converted to a head breather, It has a six speed transmission installed too. I have a extras set of fork sliders, front pegs and the lower fairlings. My reserve is set at $6500 because of the time and money that went in to build this bike. There is a a lot of money in this bike. This thing is the real deal. It runs great! If you want to make and offer we could work out a buy it now. 2014 Harley-Davidson Fat Bob Receives Dark Custom Makeover
Mon, 19 Aug 2013The Harley-Davidson Fat Bob is returning for 2014 with a new blacked-out look as the latest model to get H-D’s Dark Custom look. The new, darker Fat Bob features a number of blacked-out components including the powertrain and air cleaner cover, rear shock covers, triple clamps, headlight trim, console and battery box cover. The machined aluminum slotted disc wheels have also been received a black powdercoated finish as well as a laser-ingraved Harley-Davidson logo and rim stripe.
Zero Motorcycles Named to Made in USA Foundation Hall of Fame
Tue, 03 Jul 2012The Made in the USA Foundation has named Zero Motorcycles to its 2012 Hall of Fame class, recognizing the electric motorcycle manufacturer’s commitment to American manufacturing. Zero Motorcycles, founded in 2006 in Santa Cruz, Calif., by former NASA engineer Neal Saiki, becomes the second motorcycle manufacturer named to the Foundation’s Hall of Fame. Harley-Davidson was inducted in 2011.
Harley-Davidson Confirms 500cc Model on the Way, Says Electric Harleys Not That Far-Fetched
Mon, 02 Sep 2013It’s only been a couple of weeks since Harley-Davidson broke new ground by unveiling new “Twin-Cooled” liquid precision-cooling engine technology its new Project Rushmore suite of customer-driven refinements, but the Motor Company appears to have even more ambitious plans in the works. Speaking at Harley-Davidson’s 110th anniversary celebrations, Chief Operating Officer Matthew Levatich confirmed the company is producing a new 500cc model and opened the possibility of an electric Harley-Davidson somewhere down the line. We’ve previously written about Harley-Davidson’s plans to introduce a new 500cc V-Twin model for the Indian market.
