Harley-Davidson Touring description

This bike is a sweetheart, gets looks and thumbs up everywhere it goes. The panhead is the iconic Harley and is unmistakable. This bike has that timeless look and is a solid new bike underneath, everything used for the restoration was new or rebuilt. This bike was restored to its present condition just a few years ago and has only about 1000 miles on it(title will have ~1100 actual miles on it when new owner gets it, to find one so low is rare). I am only selling due to major house work that needs done, otherwise I would never let it go.

The bike is titled as a 1949, but when it was restored I wanted a Duo Glide for a better ride and always loved the destinctive look of the 1958s (first year for the rear shocks). Everything was done right, only way to tell it is a 49 is looking at one of the matching case half numbers. All 48-64 panhead motors are interchangeable so it was easy to make the decision to go with the better riding and looking 58.

Please look at all the pics, there are 20 or so and they show great detail. Please note the bike was ridden so it is not perfect, but you will have a hard time finding a nicer one. The bike runs great around town and on the expressway too. Everything works and it needs nothing, it is ready to go. Ride it home and win "best of show" at your next bike show.

Buyer is responcible for all shipping costs, but we can assist with finding and coordinating. International bidders please contact me with your information and we can work out the best options for you. If you would like to see the bike in person send me a message and we can set up a time for inspection. Any other questions don't hesitate to ask. Please, serious bidders only. Thanks and good luck
