Do to wife medical conditions and can no longer ride long distance we decided to put our 2005 Harley Davidson Electra Glide Classic up for sale that we bought new in the fall of 2004. The bike is pretty stock and in great shape except for maybe a minor scratch or two. The bike has Vance & Hines pipes, Sundowner seat, Willie G. footboards, detachable tourpak, luggage rack, battery tender, remote garage door opener and a few little odds and ends. As of 8-11-2013 the cycle has 22659 miles. We live in Kirksville, MO. the northeast part of Missouri. If you have any questions feel free to write and I'll try to answer them the best I can. Three-Year-Old Motorcycle Prodigy?
Tue, 18 Aug 2009Even though Tiger woods started paying golf at age two, this story of a three-year-old boy from New Delhi, India is probably just as impressive, maybe more. Azeem Khan, photographed on the Royal Enfield Bullet above, has been granted a special license by judges in India allowing him to ride his motorcycle on side roads but is not allowed out on the main roads by himself. Khan’s father had to customize the bike so that the young boy could reach the controls and prove that he could handle the motorcycle on his own. I used to sit him on my bike and he would always grab at the controls.
Harley-Davidson Reports Q2 2014 Sales Results
Tue, 22 Jul 2014Harley-Davidson reported a net income of $354.2 million over the second quarter of 2014, thanks to a 12.4% increase in sales revenue. Actual motorcycle sales volume stayed about even, however, with unit sales increasing to just 90,218 motorcycles from 90,193 sold in the same quarter last year. Though sales were statistically the same as they were last year, Harley-Davidson generated $1.48 billion in revenue from motorcycle sales alone, up 16.2% from the $1.27 billion reported in the second quarter of 2013.
