Harley-Davidson Bobber description

New build by Lock Jaw Customs with HAMMER Performance motor. VERY fast VROD destroyer. These guys only build one to two bikes a year so the attention to detail is incredible. There is different Custom Leather seat on the bike than shown in most of the pics...same style just better fit. 2 into 1 custom exhaust with new heat tape, Moty 8 cell battery, custom bars, Joker pegs and levers, powder coated frame, bottle opener points cover (coolest add). Bike has a 1250 Hammer motor with huge torque numbers. Research HAMMER PERFORMANCE to see the goods.

It uses standard Harley Davidson softail rear brake pads, it does have new in it now, standard Harley brake fluid, hammer performance recommends no lower than 89 octane. I have run it with 93 since the engine kit installed. It has one inline fuse under the bike that is for all the wiring. The wiring is clean and simple and not a rats nest. Battery is a Moty engineering lipo battery. It's a 8 cell and does not need to be charged as long as you take it out in the cold months (below freezing) and put it inside and keep it stored at room temp. In the event you would need to charge there is a plug on the side of it. Lightweight and used by those going fast. It's a trick little battery.

When you start it, pull the choke out, let it idle for about a minute or two. The carb is setup with a 185/45 jet setup and the fuel mixture is turned 3 turns out. The carb has been tuned for the velocity stack and exhaust. The stack does have a multilayer filter screen in it and it is washable. Bike is loaded with all stainless steel bolts, motor and frame. New rubber motor mounts also, those will last for years. 0 tolerance custom shims built for the hub bearings. This is an incredible build that WILL NOT disappoint. I'll be glad to send video upon request.

Bike is for sale local and reserve the right to end this listing if sold.
Serious inquiries only please.

Actor and Avid Rider, Lorenzo Lamas, to Lead Charity Ride for Abused Children

Thu, 08 Mar 2012

Lorenzo Lamas, the heartthrob who played ex-cop Reno Raines, a chopper/cruiser-riding beefcake sporting a flowing mane (that most women wished they had), out for justice in the ’90s TV drama, Renegade, is a real life motorcyclist, and will lead a charity ride on June 3 as the grand marshal for Child Abuse Awareness. Slated to join Lamas are actors/riders from Sons of Anarchy, Southland and American Ninja, as well as law enforcement and the general public, on the ride that will depart from Bartels’ Harley-Davidson in Marina del Rey, Calif., and end at the Newport Dunes Resort in Newport Beach, Calif. Here’s the full set of details on the ride from the press release: LOS ANGELES, CA – March 8, 2012 – Organizers have announced that the much anticipated ’Ride to the Dunes’ for Child Abuse Awareness, led by Grand Marshal, Lorenzo Lamas, scheduled forSunday June 3, 2012 will begin with a beautiful ride from Bartels’ Harley-Davidson, 4141 Lincoln Blvd., Marina Del Rey, CA to the serene Newport Dunes Resort, Newport Beach, CA.

Stephen King to Guest Star on ‘Sons of Anarchy’

Tue, 21 Sep 2010

Stephen King will be making a guest appearance on the hit TV show, Sons of Anarchy, later tonight.  King will play a character named “Bachman”, which I’m sure was no coincidence since he had published under the pen name “Richard Bachman” for several years. Stephen King is a motorcycle enthusiast and was excited to get a tricked-out, bright red Harley-Davidson Road-Glide to ride for the filming of the episode.  See his comments about the production here.
