I have my custom Ducati 848 Superbike for sale. Bike has just over 14K miles. Custom tricolore paint (red,white,green) with gold flake. Wheels and subframe are power coated red with gold flake. Front wheel has ceramic bearings. Ducati carbon wheel logos. Bike has lighten pulleys on cams and crank. Power commander V with dual auto tune O2 sensors. Map switch on left bar to switch from custom mapped ECU to auto tune. Cox racing radiator and oil cooler guards. Carbon fiber (a lot) Belly pan, Over sized Intake runners, Front fender, rear fender, upper inside front panels, under nose panel, frame covers, clutch cover, stator cover, key guard, front sprocket cover, gas cap, Instrument cover, dash cover, heel guards, rear master cylinder cover, mirror block off plates, exhaust shield, belt covers (3 pieces), Ducabike clutch aquarium & tank covers w/carbon, Carbon CRG levers, v chin guard, custom seat to match paint- w/carbon material. All silver pieces on bike- master cylinders, calipers, rear linkage, fork tube, front stay, have all been powder coated black. Domino upgrade throttle control, SSR adjustable pegs, SSR GP shifter, CNC oil cap, CNC front and rear axle nuts, CNC preload adjusters, CNC clutch slave cylider, pro grips, Dark double bubble windscreen, Clear intergraded taillight, front turn indicators moved to front running lights, Suspension springs front and rear upgraded to 210lb rider. Swingarm powder coated black with ducati in gloss(all new bearings when done), JT 14tooth front sprocket, EK-Black and gold chain, rear shock spring power coated black, LH CRG 2" mirror, Termignoni Full carbon exhaust from a 1098-Ceramic coated black inside and out, CNC bleeder covers. May have missed something. The bike needs.....Nothing. Ducati tech owned. Newer tires, All services have been kept up on time. Next service is due @16,500K miles. Eni full synthetic 10w40 oil always used. *Buyer is responsible for shipping if needed. Lightning Motorcycles To Field Current Lap Record Holder Carlin Dunne At Pikes Peak

Dunne is the current lap record holder on a motorcycle, and the two-time and defending class champion. This marks a historic moment, as Dunne will switch from the gas-powered Ducati Multistrada he rode to his past victories to the all-electric Lightning superbike.

Mon, 10 May 2010Following Joe Kopp's historic win on a Ducati in AMA flat track, alarms bells have been going off in the heads of many, "Hey why doesn't Nicky Hayden jump on the Duke flat tracker?" Well the guys at the excellent American publication Road Racer X are running an online petition and a great marketing wake-up call for Ducati to get Nicky on board the bike for the Indy Mile on August 28th. If he won, and it's a big if considering he hasn't raced flat track in a long time, Nicky would complete the AMA Grand Slam which encompasses victories in the following; half-mile dirt track, mile dirt track, short track, TT, and a Superbike race win. It's an exclusive club with only four members, Dick Mann, Kenny Roberts, Doug Chandler and Bubba Shobert.
