A great second owner 2006 BMW K1200R for sale.
It spent its whole life being serviced by an Authorized BMW dealer, Hermy's in PA. 15200 miles +/- I'm still riding it. Tires are nice and fresh, brakes are great. ABS and heated grips. This thing is lightning fast! It does have a recall on the fuel level meter, a common issue with this model. It will be replaced for free when you bring it in for service. 2014 BMW R1200RT Spied Testing
Thu, 21 Mar 2013With the new 2013 BMW R1200GS now launching worldwide, it really should be no surprise BMW is working on more models using the GS’s new liquid-cooled boxer engine. A contributor to French site MotoMag happened upon a crew of test riders on heavily camouflaged test mules of what appears to be the 2014 BMW R1200RT. The swirly camo pattern does little to hide the new “precision cooling” liquid-cooled engine, easily identified by the pipes exiting from the bottom of the cylinders.
BMW Quitting WSBK After 2013 Season
Wed, 24 Jul 2013BMW announced it will withdraw its factory support from the World Superbike Championship at the end of the 2013 season. According to BMW, the company will concentrate on its production models including the addition of new small-displacement models and reaching developing markets. BMW Motorrad will also shift resources to other motorsports activities such as supporting customer racing efforts in both international and domestic competitions.
