Charge Up you iPhone While You Ride
Fri, 12 Feb 2010Motorcyclists can now enjoy total freedom on the open road confident in the knowledge that their cell phones, GPS, MP3 players and latest generation of iPhone/iTouch devices will remain fully-charged and in-service for the duration of the ride thanks to Powerlet’s plug and play systems.
“Our product line was inspired by personal experience and the realization that there were no worthwhile options for clean, reliable on-board power for cell phones, stereos and GPS devices,” says Powerlet Products founder Adam Bonislawaski. “Before we came on to the scene, riders would bust out the black tape and wire strippers and cut into their bike’s fragile wiring to tie-in a cheap cigar lighter to power their devices. With Powerlet, those days are a thing of the past.”
Designed to not vibrate out, Powerlet cables and plugs exceed all vibration, size and amperage requirements.
“Our engineers make sure the connectors are compatible, fuses are sized correctly and that voltage is properly regulated for safe operation,” says Bonislawaski. “Powerlet’s quality power cables are built to last a lifetime and priced to not break your wallet.”
Powerlet’s hottest new offering for 2010 is the Apple 3G, 3Gs and iTouch Standard Powerlet Charging Cable. This product is designed to work seamlessly with Apple iPhone 3G, 3GS, and iPod Touch devices and OEMs wiring harnesses. The cable mounted in-line regulator assures that voltage is properly stepped down to operate the iPod and protect it from any transient voltage spikes. The kit also includes a 36″ coil cable and Powerlet’s Right Angle Plug.
Tough and dependable, the Powerlet line of Apple 2G, 3G, 3Gs, iPod and iPhone cables were designed specifically for the rigors of powersport activity. Their glove-friendly design insures ease of connection and use while the small size makes for easy storage. These cables are completely compatible with OEM sockets found on BMW, Ducati, Aprilia, Triumph, Moto Guzzi and Victory motorcycles and they are offered in a variety of lengths including a direct to battery harness.
“Our Apple compatible power cables come in a variety of configurations in order to best suit your needs,” says Bonislawaski. “All cables are internally fused for further appliance protection. There is a Powerlet adapter cable to fit your needs. If not just call us toll free and we will custom build your cable.”
