This is a 1998 K1200RS in the highly desired yellow checkered board color configuration. I bought this motorcycle a few years ago with only 660 miles on it. It has less that 19,000 miles now and it has been meticulously maintained and always kept in a garage. The motorcycle was recently serviced a few months ago and had the following work performed. · EBC HH brake pads installed in front · Brake and clutch fluid replaced · Radiator flushed and refilled · Factory options include: BMW Hard luggage bags keyed to ignition. Enduro Legend Juha Salminen Announces Retirement

Naked BMW S1000RR Spotted Testing in Italy – Video
Wed, 29 May 2013Italian site Motociclismo.it has published a video of what appears to be a naked version of the BMW S1000RR being tested on public roads in Rovereto, Italy. The test model was dressed in camouflage and appears to be close to being ready for production, especially compared to the earlier prototype spotted testing last summer. We expect BMW will officially unveil this S1000RR-based streetfighter at either the Intermot show in Cologne, Germany, or the EICMA show in Milan, Italy, later this fall.

Wed, 25 Sep 2013Pierre Leclercq has been appointed vice president and head of design at Great Wall Motors. Splitting his time between the company's studio in Baoding, China, and a Shanghai-based satellite studio, he reports directly to chairman Wei Jianjun. In his role he‘s responsible for the design of the brand globally and leads a team of 130 designers in Baoding as well as 25 in the Shanghai studio.
