BMW F-Series description

Offered for sale is this 1976 BMW R90S in Daytona Orange built 01/76. It is an unrestored, numbers matching, nearly completely original bike with 52,175 miles and has been upgraded to improve rideability and reliability.
The paint is in near perfect condition with only minor scrapes accumulated over its 40 year life. There is a small ding on the front fairing as is visible in the pictures. I have a brand new fairing in Daytona Orange with no damage whatsoever. There are no dents of any sort anywhere on the bike.
The bike has been upgraded with electronic ignition, which works perfectly, however, I do have the original points. I installed a new diode board last year after the original Bosch unit failed. The new one is much better built and has been problem free. The brake pads were also replaced last year, they do not squeak and have good power. Brake lines are braided steel. The bike also is equipped with an easy clutch from Benchmark Motor Works which makes city riding much easier on the hands and allows for much more accurate clutch operation. The mirrors are napoleon bar ends which are far superior to stock but I have a set of original mirrors as well.
