Yamaha YZF tech info
Yamaha YZF description
This is a 2015 Yamaha YZ250FX with Electric Start. I built this bike for my kid to ride and his heart just wasn't in it. So it's got to go. It comes with many extras. It has Maxxis Tires in descent shape. It has a GPR steering Damper, It has Cycra plastic kit that has the one piece radiator shrouds. It has a Magura hydraulic clutch, It has an FMF F4.1 RCT Exhaust. It has a Works Connection hour meter. ( the bike only has 49 hours by the way). It has silicon radiator hoses. It has a Yama-link lowering link to drop seat height 1 1/4", but I have the stock one as well. I am sure that I have forgotten something. But it is a really nice bike and I have over $10000 invested. Our loss is your gain. This bike is awesome. I changed the oil every time he rode it and was meticulous with maintenance. Call me with any questions

Day 2 Dakar 2014: Sunderland Wins First Special Stage
Mon, 06 Jan 2014Honda won the second day of competition with Team HRC’s Sam Sunderland claiming victory in the first special stage of this year’s Dakar. Sunderland has had a frustrating time at previous Dakars, dropping out after three days of racing in 2012 and withdrawing a month before last year’s event due to fracturing both his wrists. Today, however, Sunderland made a grand entrance into the club of elite riders by brilliantly winning his first special stage of this year’s Dakar. Having started well behind his teammate, Joan Barreda, the 23-year old Brit superbly overtook Michael Metge and Juan Pedrero on the first part of the route.
OEMs Plug into Electric Bikes
Sat, 01 Nov 2008KTM introduced its prototype electric motorcycle earlier this week, and electric bike manufacturer Zero Motorcycles almost immediately responded by opening sales on its 2009 Zero X dirt bike (look for our review of the 2008 model next week!). But these two companies aren’t the only ones exploring the possibilities of electric-powered motorcycles. In September, Japan’s largest industrial information journal Nikkei Business Daily reported that both Honda and Yamaha have set target dates for launching their own electric-powered motorcycles.
