Custom painted 2008 R6S. Custom painted helmet and matching Joe Rocket women's jacket available to be sold with it. Bike has been lowered and a new chrome kick stand installed. White frame sliders also installed. Pink butterfly tank protector sticker. Only serious offers please. Cash or cashiers checks only. I still owe the bank so buyer must be willing to allow me to mail the title them (I'm willing to overnight any paperwork). Bill of sale will be given immediately upon sale. Bike was stolen in 2009 and taken for a joy ride. Ignition is the only park on the bike that still SHOWS damage. Ignition was replaced, and everything else fixed or replaced as well.

AMA Supercross: 2012 Atlanta Results

Ryan Villopoto‘s winning streak was snapped, KTM scored its second series win and Cole Seely impressed as an injury replacement for Trey Canard as the 2012 AMA Supercross Championship landed in Atlanta, Ga. Racing for the American Honda Muscle Milk team, Seely nabbed the holeshot and led the opening seven laps before finally being overtaken by Red Bull KTM’s Ryan Dungey. Monster Energy Kawasaki‘s Villopoto had a poor start by his standards, finishing the first lap in sixth place.

Rumor Mill: Yamaha To Make R400 and R650

Yamaha is set to put into production two new sporty bikes — the R400 and R650 —  according to “Young Machine” a Japanese motorcycle magazine. If true, this would fill a huge void in the manufacturer’s beginner sportbike bike lineup. It would make sense, considering the success of Suzuki’s SV650 (which later morphed into the Gladius and is now the SFV650), Kawasaki’s Ninja 650 (ER-6 in other markets), and even Honda’s CBR500R.
