Yamaha YZF description

The Yamaha R6 was the world's 1st 600cc production four-stroke motorcycle producing over 100 horsepower (75 kW) in stock form. It was introduced in 1999 as the super sport version of Yamaha's Yamaha YZF-R1 super bike. The YZF-R6 has been revised several times since its introduction. Starting with the 2003 model, the R6 became fuel-injected. The 2006 model year was a significant upgrade with a new engine management system featuring the YCC-T ride by wire throttle and a multi- plate slipper clutch. The 2008 model incorporated the YCC-I variable-length intake system to optimize power at high engine rpm and an improved Deltabox frame design. - one owner, Dealer inspection, This YAMAHA is in Excellent overall exterior condition - Tachometer, Fuel Injected, Disc Brakes, one owner Bike - Contact SF Moto at 415-255-XXXX or XXXX@yahoo.com for more details. - A little bit about us, SF Moto is a locally owned shop catering to 1st time scooter & motorcycle buyers. Wed, 30 Jan 2013

Today, Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA, has announced its U.S. road racing teams to compete in the 2013 GEICO Motorcycle AMA Pro Racing season, which kicks off in March at the famed Daytona International Speedway.  Superbike In the AMA Pro National Guard Superbike division, Yamaha is fielding “Team Josh,” as three-time and defending class champion, Josh Hayes once again teams up with Josh Herrin, the 2012 AMA Rookie of the Year. Despite setting single-season records for the most SuperBike wins, the most consecutive SuperBike wins, and the most SuperBike poles, the elder Josh hasn’t lost any of his competitive fire. During the off-season, Josh signed a two-year contract to stay with Monster Energy/Graves/Yamaha because he loves the team and he still feels that he’s got a lot of unfinished business to attend to.
