For auction is an amazing '01 YZ426, this thing is a beast. Nicest you will find. Bike is in excellent condition and is ready to ride, race, whatever. About 20 hours on a completely new top end, piston, rings, stock titanium valves, timing chain, manual tensioner, new guide seals, all new gaskets and seals, it is broken in and valves adjusted with correct shims, this thing is sweet. Starts easy, runs smooth, TONS of power. I would take a 426 over any of the new 450's any day of the week. Buy it now of $2300 and a reserve about half that and it is worth every penny. Ebay made me put a title status, this bike does not have a title, as an off-road dirtbike it was never issued a title. Delivery on the east coast possible for a fee, just get in touch and maybe we can work something out. I can help arrange national shipping at buyers expense. Please email with any questions. Mon, 27 Jan 2014With three different racers tasting victory in the first three rounds of the 2014 AMA Supercross Championship, the season was shaping up to be one of the deepest and most competitive fields we’ve seen. But at Round Four at O.o Coliseum in Oakland, Calif., Ryan Villopoto showed why he remains the top dog, leading each lap for his second win of the season. The Kawasaki rider only trailed at the very start of the race, as Honda rider Vince Friese took the holeshot with Yamaha‘s Justin Brayton slotting in second through the first corner.

Thu, 27 Oct 2022Signs point to an EICMA announcement Ever since we first uncovered evidence of a YZF-R7 based on the MT-07, people started to ask when Yamaha would do the same to the MT-09 and release an YZF-R9 sportbike using the same 890cc Crossplane Triple. The questions picked up a few months later when we dug up trademark filings for a whole range of model names from an R2 to an R9. With the 2023 model launch season in full swing, and EICMA less than two weeks away, we’ve got more fuel for the old rumor engine with two new Yamaha filings, this time for figurative trademarks for “R9” and “YZF-R9.” The trademarks were filed Oct.
