Cylinder head also rebuilt with all new valves, springs, keepers, and seals. Applied triple clamp and Pro Taper bars. O-ring chain and both sprockets replaced at same time as top end. YZ450F carburetor jetted for ~5200 ft of altitude (many extra jets as well). Tires are not "new" but are in good shape. White Brothers R-4 spark arrestor muffler. MSR radiator braces. The oil has never gone for more than 3 riding trips with out being changed from new. Newer headset and front wheel bearings. I also have almost all the original parts for the bike as well as a service manual. Oil just changed and valves were adjusted. Trail Tech speedometer.

I am selling because I got a new fuel injected YZ450F.

Sherco rider Alain Duclos took today’s stage, eight years after his first win in Bamako. With three top five finishes this year Duclos has proven his own increased competitiveness as well as that of the Sherco 450 Rally bike he’s aboard. In more tragic news, the body of Belgian rider, Eric Palante was found Friday morning on a part of the fifth stage route that riders completed on Thursday.

Stoner explains the tank slapper

Mon, 03 Oct 2011

Casey Stoner looked all set to win at Motegi, after translating his pole position into an early race-lead. But coming over the crest on the back straight his bike momentarily lost control in a tank slapper. Regaining composure the championship leader was forced to pump his brakes to get the pads back in place, with the rear-wheel bouncing in the air he ran out of time and space to make the 90 degree right hander and was forced to run into the gravel.

Yamaha Champions Riding School Returns To NJMP

Fri, 24 Jan 2014

Good news for those saddened to hear the Yamaha Champions Riding School would not return to Miller Motorsports Park in 2014: the school is back, now operating from New Jersey Motorsports Park. The change in venue doesn’t come without a slight change in the instructor lineup. Nick Ienatsch and Ken Hill will still lead the way, joined by Mr. Daytona himself, Scott Russell, but a new addition to the star-studded instructor lineup has also been added: none other than Larry Pegram.
