Motorcycle runs perfect. One of the cleanest 2003 bikes that you will find on the market. Title is clean and clear and it is ready to go. Only 6,900 miles and always garaged. Do not overpay at a dealership, I promise you will not find a better deal, I found this exact same bike with 19K for $6K from a Yamaha dealership. There are just normal wear/tear scratches on tank and around bike. On left side of bike there is a small blemish in the paint, but still shines like new. 2014 World Supersport Provisional Entry List
Thu, 30 Jan 2014The International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) released a provisional entry list for the 2014 World Supersport Championship, with 23 riders including two to be announced at a later date. The provisional lists includes riders representing four different manufacturers: Honda, Kawasaki, MV Agusta and Yamaha. Honda is the most popular manufacturer with ten riders (though two are listed as TBA).
Recall for 2006-2009 Yamaha FJR1300
Mon, 04 Jul 2011Yamaha is recalling certain 2006-2009 FJR1300 sport-tourers due to a problem with the electrical system. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the ground joint connector of the wire harness on some Yamaha FJR1300 models may overheat and become deformed. If the electrical system is not properly grounded, the motorcycle’s electric components including the ignition system may malfunction, potentially causing the engine to stall.
Jorge Lorenzo Gets His Motorcycle License
Thu, 08 Mar 20122010 MotoGP Champion Jorge Lorenzo has earned his A2 Spanish motorcycle license. Last month, we learned Lorenzo was practicing for the test on a Yamaha YB250R motorcycle, and now the Yamaha factory racer has completed the practical portion of the test. Here he is pictured with his riding teacher Xavi Vallejo (and wouldn’t it be cool to tell people you taught a MotoGP World Champion how to ride a motorcycle?).
