Regretfully selling my 2014 Yamaha R6 with only 9477 miles on the odometer. I bought the bike new in 2014 with a maintenance plan from the dealer which has done all scheduled maintenance on it. I have the paperwork from the service department to prove this. The bike is in excellent shape both mechanically and cosmetically. The pictures speak for themselves. THE BIKE HAS THE FOLLOWING UPGRADES -Full M4 exhaust system including headers. Sounds very good and makes excellent power -K&N Air filter -Power Commander tuned by Yamaha of Cool Springs -Yoshimura Rear fender eliminator -Frame Sliders -HID Headlights -HotBodies Racing Smoked windscreen -Short Brake and clutch levers -Carbon Fiber Vinyl mirrors -Carbon Fiber Vinyl Tank protector -Carbon Fiber Vinyl Gas Cap trim (all pictured) The bike makes nearly 20 more hp TO THE WHEEL than a stock R6. It is very fast. I have the dyno sheets to prove this. There is nothing wrong with this bike. I am selling it in order to go back to school this fall without too much debt. Rossi Makes Progress but Hayden Suffers Shoulder Setback
Wed, 01 Feb 2012Ducati continues to develop its Desmosedici GP12 MotoGP race bike, setting modest goals while trying to establish a good setup. Already trailing the other factory teams in development time for its race prototypes, Ducati continued to try to find good base settings for the GP12. Valentino Rossi achieved the team’s goal of lapping under two minutes and two seconds with a time of 2:01.886 while completing 44 laps on the second day of testing at Malaysia’s Sepang circuit.
Yamaha Brazil Introduces Flex Fuel YS250 Fazer BlueFlex
Tue, 17 Jul 2012Yamaha unveiled a new version of its YS250 Fazer for the Brazilian market that runs on gasoline, ethanol fuel, or a mixture of both. The new YS 250 Fazer BlueFlex is Yamaha’s first flex-fuel model, but the manufacturer says it plans to add more BlueFlex models in the future. Brazil is the world’s second largest ethanol fuel producer and the most successful biofuel-based economy.
Yamaha Champions Riding School Returns To NJMP
Fri, 24 Jan 2014Good news for those saddened to hear the Yamaha Champions Riding School would not return to Miller Motorsports Park in 2014: the school is back, now operating from New Jersey Motorsports Park. The change in venue doesn’t come without a slight change in the instructor lineup. Nick Ienatsch and Ken Hill will still lead the way, joined by Mr. Daytona himself, Scott Russell, but a new addition to the star-studded instructor lineup has also been added: none other than Larry Pegram.
