FOR SALE: 2014 R6 recently converted into a track/race bike. Bike sold on ebay once but buyer's financing fell through so I'm relisting.

I bought this R6 from the original owner when it had 2,083 miles on it. I took it for a short ride (now has 2,132 miles) then straight to the speed shop to get the works. It has never been on the track. It has a clean VA title and no liens.

This was supposed to be my track bike for years to come. Unfortunately, during this project, I suffered back to back detached retinas and after three surgeries my vision is not recovering well enough to do track days. So, I have no choice other than to sell; my loss is your gain - I’m not looking to make a profit. Although this bike is being sold in a track/race bike configuration it can be converted back to showroom state as I have ALL the body work, parts, tires, nuts and bolts. The OEM body work is in pristine condition, no scratches what so ever. MRP Motorsports out of Pasadena, MD performed all the work. I attached a copy of the MRP work order and Dyno run. I fought for its inclusion but was ultimately denied by the Bossman who wrote it off by saying our field was big enough and it wasn’t going to win anyway.

Harris Performance has just unveiled their new slip-on silencers and carbon composite heat shield for the 2009/10 Yamaha R1. Made to the usual Harris standards the cans are created from stainless steel and titanium. The silencers have fully removable baffles helping your R1 to breathe more easily and produce a fruity exhaust note.

David Stanton Charity Trackday Raises $75,000

The generosity of the motorcycling community shone brightly on Monday, as riders, fans, friends and enthusiasts took part in a charity track day at Sonoma Raceway hosted by 3J’s Motorcycle Track Days, raising $75,000. The charity track day was to benefit David Stanton, a Bay Area resident and long-time American Federation of Motorcyclists (AFM) competitor, who was paralyzed after a racing crash in June. In all, more than 400 people participated in the track day, attended the evening reception or stopped by to give Stanton their best wishes.
