This beautiful Yamaha R-1 is a 1 owner bike. It has a Power Commander Ignition and a Graves Shorty pipe that has a throaty roar. This bike was set up professionally/dyno'd and boasts 154hp and 77fpt. With the bike comes 2 keys, owners manual, and dyno/mapping paperwork. This bike is not for the faint at heart! The bike has the LED hideaway front signals and the rear signals are LED's built into the brake light. In addition to the matching matte grey rear tail cover you will also get the factory seat. The bike was just serviced and has a brand new Michelin Pilot Power up front. The R-1 has the Moto-GP traction control system and the D-Mode electronic throttle response control. The powerplant is a fuel injected and liquid cooled in-line 4 cyl with a 6-speed tranny and chain drive. The front brakes offer dual disks and 6 piston calipers while the rear brakes are single disk with single caliper. Weight is 454 lbs wet. This bike contains both the "beauty and the beast." Fri, 15 May 2009Named after a man by the name of Zebulon Pike, an explorer who led an expedition to the area in 1806, Pikes Peak is home to the second oldest motorsports race in America second only to the Indianapolis 500. First completed in 1916, this year marks the 87th running of the “Race to the Clouds.” If the math doesn’t add up, this is because there were several years that the event did not run over the course of its 93 year history. The 12.4 mile trek up the mountain consists of 156 treacherous turns to an elevation of 14,110 feet.

In addition, YCRS will head an N2 Track Days SED or “Skills Enhancement Day” on August 12. After eight successful two-day programs in the past four months, the YCRS Day Camp is being put into play and being paired with the proven success of the N2 (formerly NESBA) SED.
Colin Edwards’ Gear Being Auctioned For Feed The Children

So much so that Yamaha has announced a unique opportunity to bid on a historic set of road racing leathers, boots, gloves, and helmet as worn by Edwards during this, his final season in MotoGP. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Feed the Children, which is Yamaha Motor Corporation’s official corporate charity.
