2012 Yamaha Yzf-R6 , I bought the bike brand new, and have always kept the bike in my garage when not in use. It had a proper break in period from 0 miles to 500 miles, and no one else but me has driven the bike. Upgrades: New Two Brothers M2 V.A.L.E. Carbon Fiber Black edition Slip-on exhaust, Carbon Fiber Shogun Frame Sliders, Proton Flush mount LED turn signals/running lights, Very clean looking Fender Eliminator Kit, BRO racing filter, and a tank pad that matches everything (bike) perfectly! Tires of course are still brand new (800 miles on them), and the bike was never romped on, and it has NEVER been laid over. Thu, 10 Nov 2011On Oct. 28th, 2011 Yamaha filed a recall campaign with the NHTSA (campaign ID number: 11V533000) regarding possible fuel leaks on 2009 thru 2012 model-year V Star 950 and V Star 950 Tourer manufactured October 2008 through August 2011. The recall also includes the 2007 V Star 1300 model with manufacture dates August 2006 to March 2007.
2011 Yamaha Vino Classic Recalled for Drum Brake Issue

More specifically, the brake shoe linings may separate from the shoe due to a lack of proper adhesion, reducing brake performance and increasing the risk of a crash. The problem can affect both the front and rear drum brakes.
