It has always been garage kept, never laid down, & has very low miles because I never made enough time to ride this sexy beast like I should have. She has plenty of up-grades which I will list: Pazzo levers, short Attack Performance Rear Sets Carbon Fiber Yoshi Slip-on Exhaust Zero Gravity wind screen Braded Front Brake Lines Trickle Charger pigtail, hard wired to battery Heated Gear attachment pigtail, hard wired to battery Yamaha mirror block-outs Bar-end mirror Rear wheel spools Frame sliders Michelin Pilot Road 2, dual compound tires Graves Flush Front Blinkers Integrated Rear Brakes & Blinker embly I engine is stock I have the factory mirrors, penger seat , and rear penger pegs (which I had powder coated black) if you need to reinstall them. Wayne Rainey Visits Yamaha Racing HQ
Thu, 08 Sep 2011Racing legend and three-time 500cc Grand Prix Champion Wayne Rainey paid a visit to Yamaha Motor Racing’s headquarters just outside of Milan, Italy. The 1990-1992 World Champion met with employees of Yamaha Racing, Yamaha Motor Italy and Yamaha Motor RD Europe and officially opened a new boardroom named in his honor. Rainey, along with current Yamaha factory MotoGP racers Jorge Lorenzo and Ben Spies, took time to take photographs and sign autographs with the Yamaha staff.
Yamaha Reports Q2 2012 Results
Thu, 09 Aug 2012Yamaha has lowered its 2012 year-end sales forecast by 14.3% after reporting disappointing first half results. The Japanese manufacturer reported a profit of 14.5 billion yen (US$184.3 million), a 49.8% decrease from a profit of 29 billion yen reported in the first half of 2011. According to the company’s financial report for the quarter ended June 30, 2012, Yamaha‘s net sales totaled 632.2 billion yen (US$8.04 billion), a 4.6% decrease from net sales of 663.1 billion yen reported in the same quarter of 2011.
MotoGP to Standardize ECU Software in 2016 Season
Tue, 18 Mar 2014MotoGP‘s Grand Prix Commission announced the series will adopt a standardized Engine Control Unit hardware and software programming for all entries starting with the 2016 season. At the moment, all teams are required to use a standard ECU hardware supplied by Magneti Marelli. Teams competing under the Factory option are allowed to use their own proprietary software programming while Open option participants must use standardized software.
