Yamaha YZF-R description

2009 Yamaha YZF-R6R, I have an orange/black Yamaha R6 for sale. This bike has been babied from when I took the title at 6500 miles. Never stunted or raced. I have an electronic version of the manual. This bike has been serviced at all the required intervals. I have all the stock parts from when I got it. I will post more pictures as time goes. Text/call (prefer text) @ 402-seven-0-seven-7657 for any questions. The reason as to why I'm selling it is because I want to move up to a liter bike. For now, it is used as a commuter from home to school. Mechanically, this bike functions as if it was brand new - there are no flaws at all. Only minor, MINOR cosmetic dings from being dropped very, very lightly as noted below. Has a few scratches on the left and right side (very, VERY minor) before I installed frame sliders. A part of the right foot rest chipped off (very cheap to replace). If you have ANY questions/offers, don't hesitate to text/call me - or if there is a specific picture you want to see, I can post it up for you. I would be more than happy to arrange a time for you to see it in person. Mileage: 11800 and will continue to go up as I ride to home/school. -Tires have only 1500 miles on them with plenty of tread on them. -Oil changed less than 1k miles ago -Spark plugs changed less than 50 miles ago -Chain cleaned and lubed -Coolant topped off, and bled -Brake fluids topped off, and bled -Have brand new Carbon Lorraine front brake pads (the current brake pads still have about 95% left of life in them, so you won't be needing them for awhile) -Have all dealership receipts for all labor done on the bike (all service done by Dillon Brothers) Mods: Easily over $1.5k in parts+labor -MJS1 Racing headers (cat removed, ceramic coated) -Flush mount hotbodies turn signals (unattached at the moment) -Power Commander V -Motodynamic integrated tail light w/ strobe lights (super bright) -Custom dyno-tune by Clifford Cycles -Carbon-fiber wrapped delrin frame sliders -Fren Tubo steel braided brake lines (Orange) -Shermoto racing clutch/brake levers -K&N Lifetime Air filter If you want anything specifically done to the bike, I can do it: such as revert any of the mods to its stock components, change the oil, etc. I also have a medium sized icon jacket, stock headers, full yoshimura R-55 stainless steel exhaust system, stock muffler, rear motorcycle stand, hot-bodies megaphone slip-on, and 3 motorcycle helmets for sale if interested. AMA Pro GoPro Daytona SportBike Riders Gearing Up For Road America

Thu, 29 May 2014

The AMA Pro GoPro Daytona SportBike class makes its much-anticipated return to Road America this weekend. The four-mile Wisconsin circuit is a particularly exciting place to watch the middleweight bikes because its long straights and braking zones make passing and lead changes commonplace. More than just a test of man and machine, the races often develop into a strategic battle leading up to the all-important last lap and run up the hill to the checkered flag.
