2008 Yamaha R6 Special Edition bought with 60 miles on it and currently at 4441 miles. Never dropped and title in hand. Some goodies on the bike are full titanium Akrapovic exhaust system with carbon fiber slip on, k&n race air filter, frame sliders, new Michelin Pilot Pro 4 tires, all fluids changed to synthetic, power commander and dyno jet auto tune system, ASV shorty levers, Custom LED Blaster X integrated rear tail light and a few powder coated pieces to make the bike really stand out. Sharp bike and REALLY well taken care of. The bike comes with the original clear windshield and stock pieces. Bike is garage kept with zero scratches. The 2012 Yamaha YZ250F gets several engine refinements including a new 39mm carburetor, compared to the 2011 version’s 37mm carb. The piston and piston pin are said to be lighter, while the connecting rod and counterbalancer are also new.

Thu, 10 Jan 2013Yamaha must “pursue true Yamaha-ness and break out of our old norms” if it hopes to increase profitability, says Hiroyuki Yanagi, the company’s president and chief executive officer. In an open letter released by Yamaha, Yanagi discussed what his company needed to do in order to reach its goal of producing 12 million units this year and collecting 2 trillion yen (US$22.5 billion) in sales. Yanagi’s message offered little in specific details but provided a glimpse of Yamaha’s overall strategy for the next few years.
