2008 Yamaha R6s 2940 Miles New Condition on 2040-motos
Yamaha YZF-R tech info
Yamaha YZF-R description
This R6S is in brand new condition except for a scratch under the left turn signal on the flaring but not visible when looking at the bike. I'm 45 and babied the bike and the shift light has only turned on maybe 3 times so the 2940 miles are very soft miles. Everything is original except for the battery and oil changes including the chain tension because I have never torqued the motor enough to stretch the chain.

Thu, 06 Apr 2023Sport-tourer equipped with radar-based adaptive cruise control Last November, Yamaha Motor Europe revealed a new Tracer 9 GT+ at EICMA, a new version of its Triple-powered sport tourer equipped with a 7-inch TFT display, adaptive cruise control, and a radar-linked unified braking system. Yamaha Motor USA, however, remained quiet about it, and we later learned the Tracer 9 GT+ was not coming to the States for 2023. In fact, even the less techy regular Tracer 9 was left out of Yamaha Motor USA’s returning model announcements.
"That's one small step for man..."
Fri, 02 Oct 2009TO CELEBRATE the 40th anniversary of man's first steps on the moon, Fiat Yamaha rider Jorge Lorenzo will wear an astronaut-style paint job on his helmet at this weekend's Portuguese GP. The Spaniard's lid has been sprayed to look a little like a spaceman's helmet and has Neil Armstrong's immortal words: "That's one small step for man; one giant leap for mankind" written on the rear. Let's just hope Lorenzo doesn't launch himself this weekend.
Yamaha Tenere 700 Raid Prototype First Look
Tue, 23 Nov 2021Return to sender Well the seat was a little high, at 34.6 inches, but that didn’t stop the Yamaha Ténéré 700 from doing very well in last summer’s blockbuster middleweight ADV comparison. Keeping it simple and keeping the weight down was a great recipe for success, and now Yamaha is fixin’ to take it to the next level with a Ténéré 700 Raid, for which this machine it showed at EICMA serves as prototype.
