Yamaha YZF-R tech info
Yamaha YZF-R description
2007 Yamaha YZF-R6, This 2007 Yamaha YZF-R6 is in very good shape with 16k miles. The blue paint is in great shape with some minor wear to the right side due to a light tip over. The tail section's leading edge has a scuff and the frame slider took the rest of the fall. The rider seat also has a slight tear on the left side as well as a scuff to the fairing. Seems like this could have happened when the rider was throwing his leg over the seat. There are a few aftermarket items on this bike such as GYTR carbon pipe, flush mount LED front signals, custom rear signals, painted white rear tire hugger and a licence plate relocation bracket. It also has the right side frame slider but on the left side is missing the puck. The tires are in great shape and the inspection will be done shortly which includes an oil change. This bike will be ready to carve some corners real soon! 2024 Yamaha Ténéré 700 First Ride
Wed, 13 Dec 2023Small updates keep the T7 fresh, but we're still missing out on the European variants Photos by Yamaha/Joseph Agustin Photo Yamaha’s popular Ténéré 700 “T7” adventure bike returns for 2024, and while it would be easy to say it is “largely unchanged” from the 2023 model, there have been some notable changes made in response to feedback from many North American riders. One wish still unrealized: the U.S. dealers won’t be getting the up-spec World Raid and numerous other versions of the T7 the EU enjoys - at least not this year.
Yamaha 350LC ProAm, Mallory Park 1981
Thu, 26 Aug 2010So Kenny Roberts Jnr think traction control is ruining racing? Having watched this 1981 ProAm race from Mallory Park, I'm forced to agree. Racing should be a spectacle.
Simon and Leo
Thu, 11 Aug 2011If you are a track day regular this year, you may well have bumped into former racer and friendly Kiwi, Simon Crafar. I first met him in Malaysia in 1990 when he was riding for a Yamaha dealer team, sweating his way round circuits like Shah Alam and Johor Bahru but with a long term plan to make it onto the World scene. And he didn’t take long as after riding for Honda in the UK in 1992 he moved to WSB in 1994 and enjoyed success with both the Honda and Kawasaki factory teams.
