2007 Yamaha YZF-R6, This 2007 Yamaha YZF-R6 is in very good shape with 16k miles. The blue paint is in great shape with some minor wear to the right side due to a light tip over. The tail section's leading edge has a scuff and the frame slider took the rest of the fall. The rider seat also has a slight tear on the left side as well as a scuff to the fairing. Seems like this could have happened when the rider was throwing his leg over the seat. There are a few aftermarket items on this bike such as GYTR carbon pipe, flush mount LED front signals, custom rear signals, painted white rear tire hugger and a licence plate relocation bracket. It also has the right side frame slider but on the left side is missing the puck. The tires are in great shape and the inspection will be done shortly which includes an oil change. Shawn Higbee Wins On The Brough Superior Taylor Made Racing Moto2
Thu, 01 May 2014In only its second race appearance, the Brough Superior Taylor Made Racing Moto2 bike competed in the WERA F1 and B Superbike events on April 27th at the Autoclub Speedway in Fontana, California, run in conjunction with the first round of the GEICO Superbike Shootout, presented by Yamaha. During the F1 race, rider Shawn Higbee moved up to as high as 2nd place from a 5th row start on the Brough Superior TMRGP2 bike. The TMRGP2′s lightweight all carbon fiber chassis and 600cc Honda powerplant demonstrated impressive cornering speed on the tight infield sections but could not match the top speed of the heavily modified 1000cc F1 bikes on the long straights. On the last lap Higbee was shuffled back to 4th place at the finish line.
Yamaha Opens New Motorcycle Testing Center
Wed, 13 Nov 2013Yamaha has completed construction of a new test course for developing motorcycles for emerging markets in Kikugawa, Japan. The 121-acre Yamaha Motor Kikukawa Test Course features a 1.18-mile circuit and a mix of multi-purpose roads and mountain terrain. It will be used to develop new motorcycles for Latin America and Asia.
