Yamaha YZF-R description

Up for sale is my 2007 Yamaha R6.  Due to my busy schedule, I wasn't able to ride the bike as much as I wanted to which is why it has such low mileage.  It currently has around 3,150 original miles. The bike was kept locked away in a heated garage on a stand its whole life.  It was meticulously maintained and all maintenance is currently up to date.  The oil was changed at 1,000 miles and was just recently changed at 3,000 miles with high performance full synthetic oil.
  • $550 Carbon fiber Yoshimura exhaust
  • still has cat so it will pass emissions inspection
  • Frame sliders
  • integrated tail light with fender delete kit / flush mount turn signals
  • HID High and low beam headlights
  • FULL UNDERGLOW LIGHTS WITH ON / OFF SWITCH
  • NEVER DROPPED
  • As you can see by the tires, it was never fully leaned over.  Never wheelied, beaten, or abused.
  • Always warmed the bike up to at least 180 degrees before riding
  • Always ran premium 93 and up fuel.
  • fans kick on at 214 degrees as they should
  • tires have about 60% life in them
  • brakes are perfect and grab like they did when new
  • BRAND NEW chain and sprockets, (have 10 miles on them)
  • BRAND NEW battery
  • Chain lubricated every 2 rides with O-ring safe lubricant
  • small dent on tank about an inch or 2.  paint wasn't damaged or chipped

2015 Yamaha XJR1300 and XJR1300 Racer Announced for Intermot

Mon, 29 Sep 2014

In a time where air-cooled icons like Harley-Davidson, Indian, BMW‘s boxer engine and the Ducati Monster have all embraced the radiator, it’s a bit surprising to know Yamaha is still offering the XJR1300 in Europe. Featuring the world’s largest-displacement air-cooled Inline-Four engine in production, the XJR1300 lives on in 2015 with a new custom-inspired look and a cafe racer variant. The 2015 XJR1300 was inspired by a custom from builder Keino called “Rhapsody in Blue” as part of Yamaha’s Yard Built program.
