Yamaha YZF-R description

Beautiful 2007 R1 Silver bullet....

Bought this bike three years back with 6500 miles on it so I only rode it about 500 miles/year.
The person I bought it from did a lot of work to it spending according to him over 8k on add ons.
I'm not sure what they are other than the obvious carbon pipes (loud), speed shifters, etc.
i can send as many pics as you'd like.
this is the fastest bike i've ever been on in 20 years of riding.  Be aware....
it's in good condition.  Some minor scuff marks, etc.  nothing major.  If you want a cosmetically perfect bike, don't bid on this.
It's been garage kept for the entirety of its existence.
Maintenance done recently with new oil, brakes, fluids.
Good luck.  Someone will wind up with the meanest and coolest R1 i've ever seen.

2024 Yamaha MT-09 SP Review – First Ride

Wed, 28 Aug 2024

Better suspension and Track mode brings us so close to an R9 Photos by Dave Schelske As the tail rider in a train of approximately seven identical Yamahas, I couldn’t help but watch in awe as each of us weaved our way through the notorious Tail of the Dragon, bending the bike underneath us to our will through the 120-something corners, the unison of the dance mesmerizing as each of us took our turn, one by one, around each apex, at irresponsible speeds, front wheels inches away from the person in front of us. This is the kind of trust you build up after you’ve ridden with the same group of people for years on end. We all know that riding with your friends is fun.

Who To Watch In AMA Pro Superbike This Weekend

Tue, 11 Mar 2014

Photo: Brian J. Nelson Even though reigning AMA Pro Superbike champ Josh Herrin has left the series to try his hand in the Moto2 series, the Superbike field is still filled deep with talent heading into this weekend’s series opening round at Daytona. Here are just a few names to keep an eye on this weekend.

How to murder an HP2 Sport

Some bikes and cars should be left entirely stock; left unchanged from the way the factory intended them to be. In purchasing them you should understand that. I could produce a list of vehicles that should be taken off the owner if they modified them in any way but I'll save you the boredom.
