50th Anniversary Edition

This R1 is in great running condition and shifts smoothly. Fresh top end. The tires have less than 300 miles on them. Clean Title. The only aftermarket part is the exhaust. Currently has 15,430 miles. Please read below for more information on condition and shipping/pick up arrangements.

  • Seat - No scratches, rips or tears
  • Headlights - Functional/Working, No fogging on lenses
  • Tail light - Functional/Working
  • Turn Signals - Functional/Working
  • Mirrors - Minor scratches on front of mirrors, Lenses are in good condition, no cracks
  • Gas Tank - No scratches or dents
  • Body and fairings (See photos also)- Misc scratches and rubs on Back fairing right side, scuff on back fairing in the rear, Front small misc. scratches/marks, Small crack on back right side fairing and front left side. (See Pictures)
  • Wheels and Tires - Tires like new, Wheels good condition

Yamaha to Open Plant in Pakistan

Yamaha is reportedly planning to open a new manufacturing facility in Pakistan. According to the Associated Press of Pakistan, Yamaha would invest $150 million in the new 50 acre facility, to be located in Karachi, Pakistan’s main seaport and financial hub. The plant would produce motorcycles for the Pakistani market, as well as models to be exported to other Commonwealth of Independent States nations.

Josh Hayes has won his second consecutive AMA Superbike title, clinching the championship in a tightly contested Race One at the 2011 season finale at New Jersey Motorsports Park. The lead changed hands several times before Hayes emerged with the win, his third of the season. The Monster Energy Graves Yamaha R1 rider was consistent all season, finishing with three wins and 12 podium finishes in 14 races, and finishing fourth in the two times he missed the podium.
