I am the second owner of this 2006 R1. First owner was a police officer like me. Due to lack of riding im selling the bike. It’s garage kept, and only has 7,761 original miles it.
There is a small scratch on the rear tail picture posted. Here are the mods:
Yoshimura slip on exhaust with carbon fiber cans
-Graves velocity stacks
-Yamaha High flow air filter
-Flush mount turn signals
-Tinted wind screen
-Powder coated black stock passenger rear sets
-Rear fender eliminator kit
-Tank protector

Wayne Rainey Visits Yamaha Racing HQ
Thu, 08 Sep 2011Racing legend and three-time 500cc Grand Prix Champion Wayne Rainey paid a visit to Yamaha Motor Racing’s headquarters just outside of Milan, Italy. The 1990-1992 World Champion met with employees of Yamaha Racing, Yamaha Motor Italy and Yamaha Motor RD Europe and officially opened a new boardroom named in his honor. Rainey, along with current Yamaha factory MotoGP racers Jorge Lorenzo and Ben Spies, took time to take photographs and sign autographs with the Yamaha staff.

Fri, 14 Feb 2014Around here, it’s no secret we’re fans of the Yamaha FZ-09 (MT-09 for those reading this outside the U.S.). It’s a great do-it-all motorcycle, and for $7990 it’s a great value, too. Apparently, Mark Toia is well aware of how useful the FZ-09 can be as well.
