Yamaha YZF-R description

2005 Yamaha Yzf-R1 , 2005 Yamaha R1 **RAVEN ** I'm selling my 2005 Raven Yamaha R1. This bike has 20,167 miles on it, but that may increase as the bike is still being ridden. Synthetic oil was always used and changed around every 4000 miles. Bike has been garage kept and has never been down. There is nothing wrong with the bike at all and it is in amazing shape. I am currently in medic school and need something more friendly for daily riding. I'm asking $5700.00 or best offer. Serious inquiries only please. Clean title in hand. I would be willing to consider an even trade for FZ1 or a sport touring bike. Please feel free to email me with any questions or offers. My email is NeonspeedNX at Upgrades/Mods: GYTR slip-on exhaust Gutted Y-pipe BMC air filter GYTR solo tail Graves frame savers Graves swing arm spools 6000k HID headlights Gregg's integrated LED turn signals Clear Alternatives LED tail light integration Zero Gravity dark smoke windscreen Pazzo short levers . . .and more! $5,700.00 9048607518

Spotted the link to this short film on a Dutch blog. It's beautifully shot/directed and captures GP rider Mike Duff's recovery from a horrific hip and pelvis injury suffered at the Japanese GP which cost him a six month stay in hospital. Watching him push-start makes you wince just imagining the pain he must have been in.

Yamaha Announces MT-10 And MT-10 SP For 2022

Mon, 22 Nov 2021

This news should come as a surprise to nobody, but it’s still equally as exciting to finally get the official confirmation: Yamaha is bringing an updated MT-10 to the US. Maybe more exciting is the announcement that Yamaha is also bringing an MT-10 SP here as well. We reported earlier this month that a new MT-10 was coming, but at the time, the report was only confirmed for Europe.

A Different Bike Magazine

Thu, 12 Feb 2009

Motorcycle Retro is a pet project of former Motorcyclist editor Mitch Boehm, launching as Motorcyclist Retro in early 2008 under the Source Interlink media umbrella. It featured a contemporary look at motorcycles of the 1960s through the 1980s. However, the circulation numbers of MR didn’t meet the expectations of the media conglomerate, and they cancelled production of the magazine after just two issues.
