2005 Yamaha R-6

Here is a 2005 Yamaha R6 that has a Rebuildable Florida Salvage Title. This bike was a theft recovery bike and needs very little to be a nice running bike. The bike does have 16,116 miles on it but is in running shape. It needs to be jump started each time so it will need a new battery that will hold a charge. The ignition set has been broken on it hence theft recovery. The bike has a GPR steering stabilizer, aftermarket clutch/brake levers, and Micron Exhaust. The bike does have a few scratches and scrapes. The tank is dented and has scratches on it, there is rash on the right side cover and there scratches on the left side of the bike. The front rim does have some rash on it and the paint is peeling off. It is a nice bike great for a beginner. If you need any more pictures or would like to see this bike in person please contact us. Remus are offering a slip-on exhaust for the 2010 Yamaha Super Ténéré. The new Super Ten exhaust from Remus comes in two options, the stainless steel hexacone retails at £370 and offers 1.6kg of weight saved on the stock OEM exhaust with a power increase of 7.5bhp. The second choice for the Yamaha's big adventure bike is the lighter titanium hexacone, the can offers the same increase in power but saves 1.81kg in weight.

2013 US Motorcycle Sales Data

The Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) reported a modest 1.4% growth in U.S. motorcycle and scooter sales in 2013, with consumers purchasing 465,783 vehicles. The sales data represents numbers from the MIC’s member brands which include BMW, Can-Am, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, the Piaggio Group (which includes Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Vespa), Victory, Suzuki, Triumph and Yamaha.

AMA to Combine Daytona Sportbike and Supersport Classes in 2015

AMA Pro Racing announced plans to combine its Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes into a single category by the 2015 season. The two classes currently share many similarities including engine displacement regulations, minimum weight limits and eligible machines. The Supersport class has more restrictions on modifications and are limited to a maximum top speed of 165 mph while Daytona Sportbike machines are allowed to reach speeds up to 170 mph.
