This is a 2005 r1 completely re done no reserve winner takes it. Here's the the deal. This was the blue and white but I changed it over to the special edition yellow. All brand new plastics, had the tank painted, new yellow chain, sprockets, tires, brakes, brake calipers replaced but bought used off of a low mile bike, fork seals, spark plugs, shift and brake peg kit new black, rear pegs, and grips. I have a custom chain guard just didn't put it on yet. Bike runs fantastic no issues whatsoever. The only thing I didn't fix is the speedometer has a small crack and the rims are starting to pit but still in pretty good shape. 2015 Yamaha FZ-07 Announced for Canada
Tue, 18 Mar 2014Yamaha announced it would import the MT-07 to Canada as the 2015 FZ-07. Until now, the twin-cylinder roadster had only been announced for Europe as the MT-07; there is no word the FZ-07 will be offered in the U.S., but the Canadian announcement is a good sign it may be coming soon. Revealed at EICMA, the FZ-07 slots in under the three-cylinder FZ-09 (known as the MT-09 outside of the North America) with a newly-developed liquid-cooled 689cc parallel-Twin engine.
2014 HRC Dakar Team Announced
Thu, 30 May 2013Today at Mugello, ahead of this weekend’s MotoGP race at the famous Italian racetrack, Team HRC unveiled its 2014 Dakar team and motorcycle. Interestingly, one person many thought could be a Red Rider this year after leaving KTM, Cyril Despres, will not be riding a Honda next year, instead joining Yamaha’s Dakar effort. However, HRC’s team still features five accomplished riders: Helder Rodrigues (Portugal), Sam Sunderland (UK), Javier Pizzolito (Argentina), Joan Barreda (Spain) and Paulo Goncalves (Portugal), all of whom will be competing on the CRF450 Rally.
Colin Edwards Announces Retirement At End Of Season
Thu, 10 Apr 2014Colin Edwards has announced he will retire at the conclusion of the 2014 MotoGP season. The announcement came during the pre-event press conference ahead of this weekend’s Austin MotoGP race — Edwards’ home round. The two-time World Superbike champion cited a lack of progress from winter testing as one reason for the decision.
