2005 Yamaha R1. Great condition. Motor was rebuilt by a professional. Brand new stator,rectifier,flywheel, spark plugs. Installed a brand new clutch that has 50 miles on it. Custom r1 blue grips with racing clutch levers. Yoshimura Full Dual Exhaust system that sounds amazing. You won't be disappointed in the sound. Power Commander that has been installed by a professional and tuned to run excellent and also gets better gas mileage. The dash computer is in perfect condition and will be a great fit for somebody wanting a quality sports bike for summer. I just don't have the time to ride anymore. Yamaha EKIDS Concept Appearing at New York International Motorcycle Show

Yamaha is bringing its full 2014 line of motorcycles to the New York City stop of the International Motorcycle Shows tour. Along with the production models from Yamaha and the Star cruiser brand, the company will display the EKIDS electric dirtbike concept that debuted at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show. The Yamaha EKIDS is powered by a DC brushless motor with electricity supplied by a lithium-ion battery.

Yamaha reported a 5.4% decrease in net sales for 2012 and a 72.2% decrease in profit but the Japanese manufacturer says it is poised for a dramatic recovery as it begins its “New Medium-Term Management Plan” for 2013-2015. James Toseland Announces Retirement from Racing

Two-time World Superbike Champion James Toseland announced his immediate retirement from motorcycle racing due to a debilitating injury to his right wrist. Signed with the BMW Motor Italia racing team, Toseland has been limited to just seven of 20 races in this season’s WSBK Championship due to the wrist injury initially suffered during a private test at Spain’s Aragon circuit in March. After undergoing an operation for the injury, Toseland made two attempts at returning to racing, first at the Miller Motorsports Park round in May and again at the Silverstone round in July.
