Yamaha YZF-R description

Selling my 04 Yamaha R6 its super clean and runs/rides like a dream. only 13,332 miles It needs absolutely nothing but a rider and it has never not started for me, best running bike I've ever owned. It shifts perfect and has tons of after market parts. Was dyno tuned at 106HP at the rear wheel... not the crank. Very fast and handles like a track bike. Bike is fuel injected so no carb issues here!

Bike is for FL locals or pickup only, no shipping. Clean title ready to sign over

here's some stuff it has installed:

- K&N filter
- Yosimura exhaust
- shorty levers
- flush mount signals
- LED intergraded taillight/signals

- geared w/ red EK chain
- black tinted windscreen
- powder coated footpegs

Inside Insights From Yamaha Champions Riding School

Tue, 18 Mar 2014

The folks at the newly revamped Yamaha Champions Riding School are determined to make you a better rider. But to improve your riding some self-reflection is in order, and like in any other sport, it’s best to start at the basics. In the first of the “Inside Insight” series, lead instructor Ken Hill discusses apexes and why they are important.

Our Magnificent seven

Wed, 16 Feb 2011

Remember to dust your Union Jacks down if you happen to be visiting any Grand Prix this year as we have no less than seven youngsters to cheer on in the junior Moto GP classes. I don’t think we’ve ever had this many ‘yoofs’ in the GP paddock so let’s hope they can do the business and bring an end to our long drought of Grand Prix titles. And that could be soon as Scott Redding is already a hot favourite for the 2011 Moto 2 championship on his Marc VDS Suter machine.

Pikes Peak 87th Annual International Hill Climb [pics and video]

Fri, 15 May 2009

Named after a man by the name of Zebulon Pike, an explorer who led an expedition to the area in 1806, Pikes Peak is home to the second oldest motorsports race in America second only to the Indianapolis 500. First completed in 1916, this year marks the 87th running of the “Race to the Clouds.” If the math doesn’t add up, this is because there were several years that the event did not run over the course of its 93 year history. The 12.4 mile trek up the mountain consists of 156 treacherous turns to an elevation of 14,110 feet.
