....2003 Yamaha YZF600R "Thundercat" in silver and black. Google this model if you are not familiar. This has been a great bike for me, has never let me down but it's time to let it go. Has 12,050 miles.
Starts, idles, shifts and rides great. I've had a lot of fun with this bike but have not ridden it hard, no wheelies, burnouts, stunts or wrecks, it's been well taken care of. Oil change to Lucas full synthetic plus K&N oil filter, coolant flush and change and new gold 530 DID chain all less than 50 miles ago so all of that's basically brand new. I just polished it with Honda spray and polish and used 303 Aerospace protectant so it looks great. Has Dunlop sportmax qualifiers front and rear that still have a lot of life in them. Has excellent sounding Yoshimura pipe, Zero Gravity windshield and flush turn signals up front. Also has a great Flosser horn that works wonderful if you're concerned about getting cut off by anyone in traffic. This bike is ready to go you won't have to do anything to it. Clear title. Pedrosa: most wins, least successful
Wed, 11 May 2011Should Dani Pedrosa win at Le Mans this coming weekend he will become the most successful rider In the premier-class not to win the coveted title. After his triumph in Estoril the Repsol Honda rider currently finds himself on 13 wins and in joint first and a win, at a circuit that sees him rank as one of riders with the most victories in all classes, would make him a clear leader. Joining Pedrosa at the top of the ranking is Max Biaggi and Randy Mamola, two riders who became associated with the number two.
Third Annual ‘The MEET’ at ACM
Tue, 26 Aug 2014More than 2,000 attendees visited America’s Car Museum for its 3rd annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival ‘The MEET’ last weekend in Tacoma, Washington, where over 300 motorcycles and scooters were showcased on the Haub Family Field at LeMay. The event drew pre-1981 motorcycles and scooters from the U.S. and Canada, including an antique motorcycle display, swap meet, cruise-in and a 78-mile roundtrip tour from ACM’s Anderson Plaza to Mt. Rainier.
Yamaha will give a third wheel to its scooter
Sun, 05 May 2019The Japanese did not have enough unusual Niken bikes so they patented the design of a new 3-wheeler scooter. The device will probably be called the Tricity 300 and will presumably be powered by a 292cc engine from the 28hp XMax 300 maxi-scooter. We're looking forward to the debut of the production version at the end of the year at EICMA.
