....2003 Yamaha YZF600R "Thundercat" in silver and black. Google this model if you are not familiar. This has been a great bike for me, has never let me down but it's time to let it go. Has 12,050 miles.
Starts, idles, shifts and rides great. I've had a lot of fun with this bike but have not ridden it hard, no wheelies, burnouts, stunts or wrecks, it's been well taken care of. Oil change to Lucas full synthetic plus K&N oil filter, coolant flush and change and new gold 530 DID chain all less than 50 miles ago so all of that's basically brand new. I just polished it with Honda spray and polish and used 303 Aerospace protectant so it looks great. Has Dunlop sportmax qualifiers front and rear that still have a lot of life in them. Has excellent sounding Yoshimura pipe, Zero Gravity windshield and flush turn signals up front. Also has a great Flosser horn that works wonderful if you're concerned about getting cut off by anyone in traffic. This bike is ready to go you won't have to do anything to it. Clear title. Keep in mind this is a used bike so no warranties are implied with this ad. I have the right to sell this locally and end the auction. Mon, 18 Mar 2013The story leading up to the opening round of the 2013 AMA Pro National Guard Superbike season was whether anyone would be able to keep up with defending champion Josh Hayes. After all, the Monster Energy Graves Yamaha rider dominated the competition last season winning 16 of 20 races including a string of 10 in a row. The season-opening round at Daytona International Speedway appeared to start on script with Hayes qualifying in pole position.
