Yamaha YZF-R description
03 Yamaha R1 Raven Edition Street Fighter. She was chosen by Yamaha North America as one of ten bikes to compete in the "Custom Showdown" and to be on display at MotoGP Indy 2012. She was also voted "Fighter of the Month" March 2012 on customfighters.com Bike turns heads and is always fun at bike night. I rode it less than a week ago and she starts and runs perfectly. I did notice the front brake pull feels long and it probably needs pads. I always get compliments when I ride it things like "That looks like batman's bike" or "is that a monster?" I usually say something like "no and it has twice the power of a monster" I am the second owner of the bike and bought it stock and is currently registered in Florida. Highlights are: Custom sub-frame Custom all aluminum tail Custom saddle Custom Triple with Vrod Night Rod headlight Toggle ignition(lock cylinder and key switch deleted) External wiring moved inboard Short exhaust with internal glass wrapped drag baffle Semigloss black paint job Aluminum coolant catch can Custom water-jetted LED tail lights(no turn signals) Shorty style adjustable clutch and brake levers Misc parts anodized black(rear set brackets, etc) Titanium header So that's the good. The bad: No key or lock cylinder, bike uses a toggle switch. Not set up to carry passenger. Paint has normal signs of use with misc scuffs/marks but no dents or dings. Tires are 100% worn and will need replacement. Please feel free to ask questions or if you'd like specific photos. Buyer is responsible for all shipping/packaging, I will not ship but am willing to help drop the bike off at a local(less than 30 miles from 33155) freight forwarder. I have the title in hand and will include it with the bike.

2012 Yamaha XT250 and TW200 Dual Sports Announced
Wed, 08 Jun 2011Yamaha unveiled a pair of 2012 dual sport models, the Yamaha XT250 and the Yamaha TW200. Both the 2012 Yamaha XT250 and TW200 remain unchanged from the 2011 versions except for a new white and blue color scheme and white front fenders instead of last year’s black fenders. The XT250 is powered by an air-cooled 249cc four-stroke engine with a 33mm carburetor.
2022 Yamaha XSR900 Review - First Ride
Wed, 25 May 2022The sportiest Sport Heritage Credit: Photos by Adam Campbell | Videos by Sean Matic Some of us were a bit surprised when Yamaha’s newly overhauled 2021 MT-09 snagged first place in last summer’s 900cc(ish) Naked Bike Comparison, against such more-expensive heavy hitters as the new Ducati Monster and KTM Duke 890. And all of us were a little surprised when the XSR900 defeated Indian FTRs 1200 and 1200S, and the now-defunct Monster 1200S, in an only slightly unfair 2019 comparo. (Slightly unfair because our test route was really nothing but tight, twisty roads.) Now, the 2022 XSR900 is newly overhauled just as last year’s MT-09 was, using all the same parts from the waist down, including the new super-sized 890 cc version of that most excellent CP3 three-cylinder and all its electronic controls.
GPify the Yamaha Fazer FZ8 with LeoVince
Mon, 05 Jul 2010Here is what LeoVince has to say about the new Fazer8 and FZ8 exhausts: Quick off the mark with 3 exhaust options launched for Yamaha's brand new 800cc Fazer and FZ8 models, LeoVince promise you less weight, better looks and improved performance. These new Fazers, with their R1 engines, albeit downgraded to a smaller 800cc capacity, have been designed by Yamaha to give more bottom end power. LeoVince have finely tuned their new slip-on GP-PRO and SBK-FACTORY exhausts to further increase both power and torque throughout the whole rev range, and endow the bike with a much improved sports sound - plus a removable db baffle for increased throatiness.
