A pure motocross machine, the light and nimble YZ125 is the perfect choice for riders stepping up from the 85cc class. Ultra lightweight means nimble handling with less fatigue. Special-design gripper type seat and fuel tank, forward-canted steering crown and low aluminum handlebar all help create greater freedom of movement and more comfortable ergonomics for riders. Wide, cleated, folding titanium foot pegs are lightweight and provide excellent comfort, grip and ground clearance. Use of light box-head bolts throughout the chassis eases maintenance while reducing weight for increased performance. Premium drive chain has gold-colored plates for outstanding looks. MotoGP Axes Claiming Rule and Adjusts Moto2 Engine Swap Fees
Wed, 03 Jul 2013The International Motorcycling Federation‘s Grand Prix Commission officially annulled MotoGP‘s Claiming Rule. Effective immediately, teams using the official spec Magneti Marelli ECU hardware and software are exempt from having their engines claimed. Starting in the 2014 season however, the claiming rule will be cancelled completely.
Rossi Signs Extension with Yamaha Through 2016 MotoGP Season
Wed, 02 Jul 2014Yamaha announced the signing of Valentino Rossi to a two-year contract extension that will see the nine-time World Champion with the factory MotoGP team through the 2016 season. “It’s great because this was my target; I wanted to continue, I am feeling good and I’m motivated to keep giving my best,” says Rossi. “I am very happy that I can keep riding my YZR-M1, that has been my love for so many years and will still be my love this year and the following two seasons.
