Yamaha YZ tech info
Yamaha YZ description
2012 Yamaha YZ85 (2-Stroke), Great Power and Suspension!!! - Serious mini racers choose Yamaha. Why? Because the YZ85 is everything they—and their parents—could ask for. The liquid-cooled, 84.7 cc, six speed engine is compact, light and quite capable of keeping up with larger cc bikes. A plush, adjustable suspension package makes short work of the roughest tracks, and from every angle, the sharp lines and styling of the YZ oozes cool. All this while maintaining the quality and reliability Yamaha is known for...so dad won't be spinning wrenches all hours of the night!

Thu, 10 Sep 2009You’ll realize how cheesy that headline is after watching the pretty rad video that Yamaha has released. Yamaha’s new motocross bike has taken a radical new approach. The engine is backwards. Yamaha’s reason for doing this is to shift the heavy end of the motor more to the center of the motorcycle to make it more agile and responsive. Slanting the cylinder also made for a straighter pathway for the air intake at the front of the bike.
