Yamaha YZ description
2012 Yamaha YZ250F, this bike was built by dirt bike magazine and was featured in it,Must See! Like New, over $3500 in Accessories. - New to the sport, or a seasoned pro, you'll appreciate the effortless handling and smooth, responsive power. It's tricky building a bike that caters to the world's fastest racers, and those who just want to have some fun. The number one demand from both sides is cornering performance; that's what our engineers and test riders focused on when developing the new YZ250F. For 2012 we have increased the carb size to 39 millimeter and lighten the piston assembly for increased mid to top end power. Then we combined the revised engine with a new more rigid Bilateral Beam frame and revised suspension front and back. Take your competitiveness—or weekend fun—to an all-new level with Yamaha's potent YZ250F.

Yamaha to Produce PES1 and PED1 Electric Motorcycles by 2016
Mon, 21 Apr 2014Yamaha announced plans to release the production versions of its PES1 and PED1 concept models within two years as part of the company’s plans to enter the electric motorcycle segment. The PES1 and PED1 (which stands for “Passion, Electric, Street” and “Passion, Electric, Dirt”) concepts were first revealed at last November’s Tokyo Motor Show. In the company’s newly-published annual report, Yamaha confirmed plans to produce the two models, saying: “In sports motorcycles, we are working to create new value with EV sports motorcycles, which we aim to launch in two years, with the development of the small, on-road sports PES1, as well as the PED1, which are being developed to expand the scope of electric vehicles to the off-road world.

Milan Show: Moto2 tried and tested
Tue, 02 Nov 2010The insanity of Moto2 doesn't seem like the right home for the elegance of the Rizoma brand. But the Rizoma ProGuard system has helped secure the levers of Toni Elias on his road to championship success in the inaugural Moto2 season. The example above was on an attractive Rizoma-enhanced BMW S1000RR, but the lever guards are not limited to sports bikes, they were also visible on Yamaha's FZ8. The patented design can tilt up to 10 degrees providing full lever coverage and can be added by simply replacing the bike's existing bar-ends.
